How does English affect learning other subjects?
English affect other subjects in writing a lab introduction in biology subject, presenting work on a feature board, the used of words, and reading articles or news that are related to that subject. If we can show that we can use English grammar in proper way it will show that we have the ability to apply into other subject and to make our works look good. Also, in reading if we be able to understand what we read it will make us can clearly explain and remember it for a long time. The last thing is speaking, it is used for communication so we don't misunderstand each other and can plan together for a project.
Reflection: In this unit we are doing a newspaper. We have 4 people in our group. My role is to make the logos and the banner. I make it by using Adobe Illustrator, I found it quite a little bit hard because I didn't use it for a long time already. But I think it very useful because we can use this in other subject to design or create something too. How does one read critically?
From my understanding, I define reading critically as using less time to understand more about the article. Therefore, I think to read critically mean finding the main idea of each paragraph, skim through, and using the context clues to find for the definition of the word so you won't waste your time with using dictionary. If we know the main idea of the paragraph we will be able to connect the idea given from the article together and understand the article more easier. Skim through to find the message in the paragraph that is important and try to understand it.

How to create a reliable research report?
A reliable research report means that the information inside is clear and have good references. The information inside contain statistics or come from an article that already did a research on. The references should have a reliable author or is written by an organization such as university or government. Also, there should be enough references regard to the topic you choose, for instance they should be at least eight references. The subtopics that are described in the research report are related to the topic, cover most of the topics thoroughly.
Reflection: This work is about writing a research report. The topic I choose is the class activities preferences of Grade 10 MUIDS in 4 different subjects including Math, Biology, Computer, and English. In this work I need to find a lot of references to use in my research report to make it reliable. I needed to read and summarize a lot of information. The most important thing is that I need to write a lot. This work really helps me improve my writing skill. I start to remember my mistake and try to avoid it the next time I write something. The most difficult part in this work for me is gathering the survey response. I need to use about 3 weeks to be able to gather enough response to use in the research report. The thing I can improve in this work is to look for more subtopic about some experiment that others already do about how class activities affect learning.
