Podcast Project: Loan

Reflection: This project contributes to the study of law. The law that we are assigned to do research on is loaning. At first, we focus on the general topic of loan and think that we will talk about them in our podcast. But as we continue, we find some case study which is about buying a house by using the money from bank credit. Our group get interested in this topic and shifts our focus to be about bank credit instead. We learn about what is bank credit, the procedure to ask for it, and things we should consider when having bank credit. To me, this work is very challenging. I have never done a podcast before and drafting a storyboard for it was very hard. It requires a lot of thoughts into the arrangement of the information that we will present to the listener. Also, because the podcast can include only sound and a cover page, to make it engaging is one thing that we really concerned about. All in all, this work really helps me improve my skills and it was fun to work on.

Thai Wisdom Bag : ถุงเที่ยวไทย

Reflection: This project contributes to the research of Thai wisdom. Our group decides to work on the rahadwidnham. It is a tool that plays a critical role in the agriculture and water transportation system in ancient Thai society. It moves water for a faraway river into the rice field and into a tank for people to use. In this project, we will create a bag that shows this Thai wisdom in order to spread this precious culture. Our group decides to design a logo that includes a field, a scarecrow, and the rahadwidnham to show the connection between it and the society. We lace the logo on a piece of clothes and will sew it into a drawstring bag. We also have a poster that has the information about the bag such as the name, the wisdom embedded, and the product picture. We decided to put the wisdom into a cloth bag because of the trend in the present time. People are becoming more concerned about the plastic wastes and change back to use a cloth bag which is more environmentally friendly. Thus, we hope that this bag will spread the idea of rahadwidnham and be able to make more people become interested in Thai wisdom.
