Equality 

        In the story of Harrison Bergeron, the author narrates the meaning of equality as everyone has the same characteristics and skills; nobody is better than the others. In my opinion, equality means that everyone has the rights to do the same thing but doesn’t need to be the same in every perspective like what happen in the story. Every word has a standard definition that we can find from the dictionary but how an individual define each word is uncontrollable. People experience different world from different perspective how they think and judge things depend on the circumstance they has passed in their life. There are a question that if the meaning of equality varies upon people then how can it be equal, so in my opinion the standard definition of it already make thing equal. People learn from that definition and then think on their own whether  that meaning are correct or not. From this example, the equality that I see is that everyone has access to the word and able to define it on their own.

        Equality in everything are impossible. Equality can be categorise into many different topics for example the gender equality. In present, people have the same rights in many ways such as people have to follow the rules that the people with higher status set up or paying the same percentage of tax. From this example, you can see that equality is presence because everyone need to follow the rule. However, the rule has been set by the person with higher status which in my perspective it not equal at all because the lower people aren’t able to discuss about the rule they just know that they need to follow it. The working system which people has different job and power are also unequal. People with higher status has the ability to access more information in the company. But, from this we can see that the job and their status come from the foundation which people has the same right to choose their path but at the same time have different skill and personal background which expand their choice. In addition, human are born as unequal while one people can have everything they want but others may have a tough life living without hope to get better someday. Furthermore, there are also others factor which affects our life such as the abilities and skill to do work. Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, or Bill Gates these are the people who invent new thing which has a big effects to our world but what let them be able to do it; their creativity. Talents varies upon people, people who have talent in sport may have stronger fitness or people who have higher comprehension skills may be able to understand the text easier. People are different from the beginning.

        I start to think whether why people are wondering to have equality in our world. I think deep in their heart they know that true equality cannot be achieve so why they are still trying to make it. Equality may be something that are used to make people feel comfort and have more unity. Nature of people is that they can accept thing that are similar to them easier so this may explain why people want to have the same right so they can feel that everyone have passed the same thing and feel more comfort. There is some example such as the gender equality. Imagine that people can make a policy about it that make men and women have the same rights, but do you think everyone will follow the rule that easy. In some part of our world there will always be a group of people who try to break the rule which the solution to this is power. Thus, when people have power can we call that it really equal when someone forced others to do something instead of letting them choose it on their own.     

        In conclusion, from my own perspective, I think that equality and inequality come in pair, they both  presence in everything and every time. If you have equality you also have something that is unequal. I think to have equality people should stop restricting others people but try to provide everyone an equal foundation to make them have the same right to choose their own path for their life. I think equality can only presence at the beginning of something because different path and choice influence an individual abilities and that make it become unequal.
