Unit 5: Printmaking

This project is about printmaking, we etch the plastic wood and put oil paint on top of it. The issue I chose for my artwork is about people lack of responsibility. I use Analogous color theory which is black and yellow to make contrast by using light and dark tone. I use these to make different between good and bad people. Black as bad people and yellow as good people. I will place my print in the public park because most of the time people buy food and go to eat it at the park, then they will throw the garbage wherever they want because they don't want to walk to the bin. The thing I want to communicate with the viewer from this print is that people who clean the garbage may not be the one who throw it to the floor, I want to show how careless people affect nature and they don't have any responsibility to their own garbage.
